A Final Weekend of TeeBall
We loaded up our suv's vans, trucks and cars and headed to Acadiana! Meeting place Holiday Inn Express in Scott at 7AM...You read that right....it was an early start for the LPR Tigers....Game Time was 8AM. .....We were scheduled to play in Vatican on Day 1 and then Pelican Park on Day 2.
Chuckle Time! Cristen (Zachary Shoultz Mom) says...I'm driving along...not really knowing the name of the park the we were scheduled to play at....all of a sudden I see this sign that says Vatican Baptist Church! Very Ironic!
Day 1 Saturday, June 19th
Opening Game of the tournament.
LPR Tigers vs. The Tarpens....sorry, I can't remember where they were from!
Theme of this game....Don't hit it to McSwain! Brant McSwain was on fire!
Tiger Highlights
Tigers started the game in the field, and boy did Brant start it!
Brant caught the first pop up...OUT #1. 2nd Hitter got on base, but he wasn't there for long...McSwain tagged him out at 2nd! Tigers held them at 2 runs!
Homerun Abedn! Congrats Abedn!
Braden whacked the ball all weekend. Braden had 2 stand up doubles during this game...knocked 2 runs in both times!
You Go Austin Watts! Stand Up Triple for this game...little did we know Austin was just getting warmed up!
Way to Play Defense Freddie! Freddie made an out at 2nd.

Our boys rested in the dug out for about 15 minutes, then it was game on....
Defensive Tiger Highlights
Abedn caught a pop up and then automatically threw that ball to first base to try for the double, but he accidentally over threw the ball! I'm sure Coach Steve was hollering to the top of his lungs hold it, but Abedn just reacts ....he knew he had a chance for that double! Next time Abedn!
Throw Down between 2nd and 3rd. Brant and Braden did an unbelievable job of throwing the ball back and forth...it didn't end up in an out, but it did hold the runner at 2nd!!
Woo Hoo Zachary Shoultz! Zachary made his first out at home plate! He caught the ball, guarded the plate and tagged the runner! Congrats Zach!
Bubba fielded perfectly and then made the throw to 2nd for an OUT!
Braden caught a hard hit...Sucker went right in his glove...would have been a line drive to the outfield....way to be there Braden!
4th Inning...We wrapped it up with 3 up and 3 out! Geaux Tigers!

Our fellas were whacking the ball unbelievably!
Braden, Brent, Freddie and Abedn all had awesome hits....all knocking in 2 runs with those hits!
GOOOOOOOOO AUSTIN! Congratulations Buddy on 2 homeruns during this game! I love to watch Joe cheer for him! He cheers from the heart!
Ball was overthrown at third base, so guess what ....we get to take another base even if that base is home plate! Abedn strolled in on that one!
