It was hot...it was hot enough to say it again....it was steamin hot! And so were our Tigers! They finished Day 1, undefeated and only allowed 11 runs all day.

Game 1. LPR Tigers vs. Slidell Magic. Final Score...15 to 5.
First out of the game Abedn Kennedy caught the pop up! And, it didn't stop there...all the boys did an excellent job catching the ball. Bubba caught a pop up on the mound and Brant caught a couple pop ups throughout the game. ...And, I might add at this point....these fellas have improved so much since league ball....I can tell a big improvement in their catching skills!
Keep Catching those balls and making the outs!

Safe at 2nd! We had a couple close calls at 2nd Base, but our boys were making it happen!

LPR Tigers vs. Central Trojans. Start time 12:33...Gotta hand it to Slidell Ball Field....they don't start things late over there!

First Inning.... Abedn Kennedy took care of all 3 outs.... Caught the pop ups! You Geaux Abedn...
2nd Inning....3 up and 3 out! Geaux Tigers!
Third Inning....We had 1 out.... Man on third base ...ball was hit to Abedn...he caught it...man on third was running back to third before Braden could tag the bag for the out, and needless to say...he had a little help...3rd Base Coach picked him up and put him back on the bag...and here comes Coach Steve.....hold up...... Base Coaches can't touch the baserunners! We'll take the outs anyway we can get em!...especially out #3!
4th Inning..."The Almost Double Play" Abedn fielded the ball....threw to Brant...Brant made the out at 2nd and then made the throw to first base....Wyatt caught the ball, but it was a hair to late, but boy was that purdy! We'll get it next time guys!

Day 2. Game 1

Boy was this a fun game! This was a 5 inning game!

First Inning
Started the game with Bubba catching the first 2 pop ups!
2nd Inning
But, then they shut us down in the 2nd inning...no score for us. One of those fellas made an awesome throw from outfield to homeplate for the out! The Nail biting began!
3rd Inning
And then they got their 7 runs in the third inning, and we didn't manage to get 1 single out...go ahead and bite those nails a little harder now...
Get Ready to Jump! 4th Inning....
Our Tigers made a Triple Play! Woo Hoo Tigers!
Abedn caught the pop up...threw to Brant where he stepped on 2nd base and then Brant threw to Braden where he touched 3rd Base...Woo Wee that was exciting!
Going into the 5th inning...it was 14 to 9...if they got their 7 runs..they would win b/c time limit was fast approaching!
1st 2 up to bat...got them out! Then, they scored 4 runs with a runner on second and then came the catch of the day.... Ball was hit behind short stop....and here comes Hunter Bethel for the winning catch! And he jumped for joy...as he should have! Awesome Hunter!
There's Hunter sporting his purple and Gold MoHawk! After the game...Hunter says... That catch right there is why they called me to play All Stars!.....you got that right Hunter!

Day 2, Game 2.
LPR Tigers vs. Slidell Prodigies.
Our 2nd time to meet. And, we were hopeful b/c we had only lost by 3 points during the first meeting.
Our boys tried really hard, but never could really get anything going.

This was the Prodigies home field and I have to think they had some kind of advantage b/c of that and we weren't rested and they were...Maybe we'll get a match up in a neutral place both rested! Not to mention.....they breed ball players big in Slidell...check that fella out! And check our skinny little fellas out in the background!
The Outfield stayed busy in this game....Prodigies were hitting them out there left and right.

Braden and Brant got into a throw down between 2nd and 3rd base and they got the fella out! Congrats Boys!
Wyatt had a staring throw down with the fella on third base..he stares them down like a bull at third base with the ball in his hand...I so want a picture of that! Somebody help me with that!
Austin was hot to trot this game...he fielded a ball and made an awesome throw to 2nd.
